Description

Approval is requested to negotiate and issue a Utility Energy Service Contract (UESC) task order for the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, under the terms and conditions of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N62473-21-G-4402, with San Diego Gas and Electric Company (SDGE). SDGE is a public utility company regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). The BOA allows for services without full and open competition pursuant to the statutory authorities of 10 United States Code (USC) 2304(c)(5) and 10 USC 2913(d). UESC Phase 25 is an energy conservation and resiliency project comprised of various Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) that affect multiple facilities across MCB Camp Pendleton. This project will utilize third party financing through SDGE.
