Description

The contract award, which includes two (2) option years, is for the scientific research and development of an Augur Shield system, an advanced capability for countering frequency-agile Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). This effort will deliver an innovative Radio Frequency (RF) DevOps pipeline that can utilize a network of multi-domain sensors. This system will enable the rapid characterization of RF signatures from new and unknown drone threats, therefore enabling the Army to more effectively detect and respond to advanced aerial threats and enhance force protection.
