Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & IMF hereby publicizes its intent to solicit a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for commercial services. In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this action is executed under the authority of RFO 12.201-1 (Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and is publicized in accordance with RFO 12.202(a) and RFO 5.101(a). Intended Source: Company Name: APS Pressure Systems LLC 705 S Persimmon St STE 85 Tomball, Texas 77375-6876, United States UEI: RTMJMXF51PC8 The government requires quarterly maintenance, refurbishment, calibration, and certification for 18 each UHP 55K Husky Diesel and Electric units, 1ea 40K BMX S50 unit, and 2 each HP 20K S250 Diesel water jet machines, manufactured by APS Pressure Systems LLC. Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a sole-source purchase order to APS Pressure Systems, as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement due to proprietary software owned and maintained by APS Pressure Systems LLC. This notice of intent is not a formal request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will be issued to the intended source after the expiration of this notice. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must demonstrate their ability to meet the Government's strict technical and safety requirements (including access to OEM proprietary data) by submitting documentation electronically to the Contracting Specialist at malia.e.hutton.civ@us.navy.mil and Contracting Officer at lyndon.g.paloma.civ@us.navy.mil no later than the response date and time specified above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
