Description
1.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement will be evaluated using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR part 12, where quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. 2. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 36C25626Q1075. 3. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2026-01 (eff. 03/13/2026) ) FAR Deviation APR 2026 (eff. 04/23/2026) VAAR DEVIATION MAY 2026 (eff. 05/12/2026) VAAM Alert 26-01 (eff. 10/01/2025) Acquisition Policy Flash 26-30 eff. 05/12/2026). 4. This requirement is a total set-aside for certified Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The North American Industry Classification System number is 339112 with a size standard of 1000. 5. Place of Performance: VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System 400 Veterans Ave Biloxi, MS 39531 6. Period of Performance: 08-31-2026-12-31-2026 7. All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via email to Contracting Officer, Anthony Marion at anthony.marion2@va.gov no later than 10:00A.M. Central Time on August 6, 2026. 8. Quotes are due no later than August 19, 2026 at 10:00A.M. Central Time and shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Anthony Marion at anthony.marion2@va.gov 9. Site Visit: The Government will host a site visit on August 4, 2026 (Tuesday). Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend to familiarize themselves with local conditions that may affect performance and pricing. Site visit is for all interested offerors prior to quotation submission. This ensures all vendors can assess ceiling structure, med gas routing, conduit pathways, lighting locations, network connections, and integration requirements. Attendance is not required to submitting a quotation. The Government will post a written summary of questions and answers (Q&A) and any clarifying information resulting from the site visit for all prospective offerors. Offerors are responsible for satisfying themselves regarding site conditions and constraints. Failure to inspect the site will not constitute grounds for a claim after award.
