Forklift Purchase

AMENDMENT 002 is issued to provide answers to submitted questions. See the attached question and answers document. AMENDMENT 001 is issued to clarify the forklift salient characteristics for the mast. The forklift shall be used primarily to lift buoys using a sling through the top bale of the buoy rather than scooping up the buoy from the bottom. These buoys may be up to 9 feet in diameter and 35 feet in length. The quoted mast should be able to accomodate moving buoys on and off semi truck beds for transportation to and from refurbishment centers. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a request for quote. The solicitation number is 71111PR260000205. Provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01 dated 13 March 2026. This is for a small business set aside. The NAICS for this action is 423830 - Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. The supplies in this solicitation are best represented by PSC Code 3930 - Warehouse Trucks and Tractors, Self-Propelled. Submitted offers shall contain the name, title, email address, and telephone number of the company point of contact who can legally bind the company contractually.
