Description
The 31st Contracting Squadron is conducting market research in support of operational contract support and contingency planning. We are seeking information from local contractors, suppliers, and service providers regarding their ability to provide commodities, equipment, personnel, and services during contingency operations. For purposes of this request, local means an organization capable of providing the requested commodities or services within the area of operations at Aviano Air Base, Italy, or capable of delivering or performing at Aviano Air Base within 48 hours of notification, subject to availability, applicable legal requirements, and mission conditions. This request is for planning and information-gathering purposes only. It is not a solicitation, request for quotation, or request for proposal. Responses will not result in the award, modification, or termination of any contract and will not affect future contract requirements, source selections, or evaluations. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting information. The Government may use the information received to support acquisition planning and identify available commercial capabilities. Areas of Interest The 31st Contracting Squadron is interested in vendors capable of supporting one or more of the following classes of supply and service areas: Class I Subsistence Food, bottled water, ice, field feeding, catering, refrigerated storage, and related support. Class II Clothing and Equipment Individual clothing, organizational equipment, field gear, tents, sleeping systems, and related items. Class III Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants Fuel, lubricants, automotive fluids, fuel delivery, storage, dispensing, and related services. Class IV Construction Materials Lumber, barriers, aggregate, fencing, electrical supplies, plumbing materials, and other construction or expeditionary materials. Class VI Personal Items Personal hygiene items, comfort items, sundries, and other authorized personal-use supplies. Class VII Major End Items Vehicles, generators, material-handling equipment, construction equipment, communications equipment, and other major equipment. Class VIII Medical Medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, laboratory support, emergency medical services, and related capabilities. Respondents should identify applicable licenses, registrations, certifications, and regulatory limitations. Class IX Repair Parts Vehicle, generator, equipment, communications, and other repair parts, including sourcing and expedited-delivery capabilities. Class X Non-Military and Miscellaneous Support Agricultural, humanitarian, community-support, or other non-military supplies and services. Services Transportation, warehousing, maintenance, staffing, hazardous-waste removal, laundry, communications, facilities support, food service, mortuary services, and other contingency-related services. Requested Information Please provide a brief capability statement addressing the following, as applicable: Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address; Unique Entity Identifier, CAGE code, and applicable business-size or socioeconomic-status information, if available; Commodities and services your organization can provide; Applicable supply classes or service categories; Available personnel, equipment, facilities, vehicles, and specialized capabilities; Normal and surge capacity; Geographic coverage and service area; Estimated response time following notification; Ability to operate on a 24-hour, extended-hour, or continuous basis; Transportation, delivery, warehousing, and inventory capabilities; Relevant licenses, permits, registrations, certifications, and insurance; Experience supporting Government, military, emergency-management, disaster-response, or other contingency operations; Limitations, dependencies, or conditions affecting performance; Subcontracting, teaming, or supplier-network capabilities; and Any other information that would help the Government understand your organization s ability to support contingency operations. Respondents are not required to submit pricing, technical proposals, or detailed contract terms. Respondents should avoid submitting proprietary or business-sensitive information. If such information is necessary to describe a capability, it should be clearly marked as proprietary or business sensitive. The Government may use responses to identify available commercial capabilities and inform future planning. Submission of a response does not create an obligation for the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Respondents do not need to provide all of the commodities or services identified in this request to submit a capability statement. Responses addressing one or more individual supply classes, service categories, or specific capabilities are encouraged. Respondents should identify only those capabilities they can provide directly or through disclosed subcontractors, teaming arrangements, or supplier networks.
