Description

SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Notice (Synopsis) Base Exterior Signage Upgrades ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION NUMBER: W50S7U26QA003 ESTIMATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: On or around July 24, 2026 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $25,000 and $100,000 1. GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice (Synopsis) only. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or a request for proposals, and no quotes are being accepted at this time. The Department of War, acting through the Illinois National Guard, intends to issue a formal solicitation for construction services in approximately 15 days. 2. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This is a non-personal services contract to provide refurbishment upgrades to existing exterior signage and new base-wide exterior signage at the 183d Wing (183WG), Springfield, IL. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services to provide refurbishment upgrades to existing exterior signage and new base-wide exterior signage at the 183WG. NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Product Service Code (PSC): Y1JZ - Maintenance/Repair/Alteration of residential buildings 3. PROCURED UNDER STREAMLINED RFO PROCEDURES: Once released, the formal solicitation will be executed as an RFQ utilizing the streamlined commercial and simplified acquisition procedures established under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. 4. ANTICIPATED TIMELINE & ACTION: Solicitation Release: The official RFQ is expected to be posted to SAM.gov on or about July 24, 2026. Site Visit: Anticipated to be held middle of August. Details regarding any pre-quote site visit/walkthrough on the installation will be provided inside the formal RFQ packet once published. Set-Aside: This requirement is anticipated to be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Interested contractors are encouraged to monitor SAM.gov under the solicitation number listed above for the release of the final RFQ and all associated attachments.
