NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204 (a)(1) set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Naval Sea Systems Command Surface Warfare Center Carderock (NSSCSWCCD) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract for software licenses to The Mathworks, Inc. 3 Apple Hill DR Natick MA 01760-2081. A sole source justification has been reviewed and approved by the Small Business Professional. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
