See: "RFI Responses 09.21.2026 - N4008526R0214 - C2 Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Install" The Proposal Due Date remains 30 September 2026 NLT 1100 SOLICITATION INFORMATION 1. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being solicited in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Asides and the Partnership Agreement between the Department of Defense and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Competition under the FAR part 6.2 - Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources this Requirement has been 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. 2. The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to procure construction services to Construction of Fire Protection System at Building C2, in support of Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle. Services are to be performed at Colts Neck, New Jersey. 3. Special clauses and requirements, including wages, work hours, safety and security regulations, etc. for this specific site/location of the work shall be defined herein and be repeated in any resultant contract. 4. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. 5. Bonding Requirements: - Offer guarantee: Required, See sections 00 40 00 and 00 43 00 for additional information. - Performance and Payment Bonds: Required, within 10 days after issuance of award. 6. The mandatory Period of Performance: The contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within 270 calendar days from date of issuance of Notice to Proceed. 7. Liquidated Damages: $907.41 per calendar day. 8. Bid shall be valid no less than 60 days after offers are due. 9. The NAICS for this solicitation is: 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors 10. One (1) Site Visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 1000 EST. Contractor will meet Gov. Representative at the Mainside Visitor Control Center parking lot on Tuesday, September 1st at 1000 EST hours sharp. Do NOT go directly to the project site. All attendees will be escorted in a van provided by the Government: GPS: 201 Highway 34-S, Colts Neck, NJ. All interested Contractors must send a list of attendees NLT 1000 EST, Friday, April 3rd so that adequate transportation can be arranged to: Supervisory Engineering Tech., Alex House (alex.w.house.civ@us.navy.mil) Additional information for this solicitation can be found WITHIN the solicitation.
