These parts listed in the report are critical to the function of the slat system of the C-5 family of aircraft. Special tooling is required for the repair and overhaul of the moving island actuators called out in the overhaul manual. Companies are encouraged to provide responses to this questionnaire but are advised that their participation is voluntary and no reimbursement of any kind will be provided.
