Description

** This amendment is administrative in nature and not a solicitation amendment. Its purpose is to correct the response time zone, which was previously listed as Central Standard Time and has now been updated to Central Daylight Time. Please note that this change does not affect the actual response time; responses are still due prior to the specified response date and time. ** **This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice for commercial products and commercial services issued pursuant to FAR Part 12 utilizing in conjunction FAR Part 13.5. Under this notice, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District (USACE) is issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for: DRY DOCK OVERHAUL REPAIRS TO TUG KENOSHA. ** **The 1954 US Kenosha Tug?s last dry dock overhaul was in 2019. This 70ft long and 20 ft wide tug requires inspection, cleaning, repainting, reconditioning, repair, and replacement of parts by a contractor at their dock, between October 14, 2025, and 15 December 2025. ** **Competition for this acquisition is restricted to small businesses. The applicable Size Standard is North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336611 with a Small Business size standard of 1,300 employees. ** **An offeror must have an active registration in the System for Award Management when placing an offer/quotation package for this acquisition. registration can be completed free of charge at www.sam.gov. This solicitation is only available at the Procurement Integrity Enterprise Environment (PIEE) website. The associated project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Prospective vendors may experience difficulties, either because the PIEE system is not operational, the vendor has not properly registered in PIEE, or the vendor is experiencing other technical difficulties.
