Description
TRICARE Medicare Eligible Program 2nd Generation (TMEP2) Industry Forum Solicitation Number: HT940226R0001 Agency: Defense Health Agency (DHA) 1. Description The DHA is hosting a virtual Industry Forum to gather information from the Medicare and claims processing industry through an open exchange of information to be used by the DHA in support of continuous market research in the development of the TMEP2 acquisition strategy. The DHA desires to identify, to the maximum extent possible, commercial best practices in delivering claims processing services. Dates: January 27 29, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST on Tuesday, January 27; 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST on Wednesday and Thursday, January 28 and 29. Where: This event will be held virtually, through Microsoft Teams The government intends to hold 1-hour, one-on-one sessions with each interested prime contractor during this time. Interested prime contractors are to respond via the link provided in the Links section of this SAM.gov announcement. The government will also hold a general forum via TEAMS on January 27, 2026 at 9:00AM EST to provide an overview of the TMEP2 requirements. All interested parties requesting a one-on-one are invited to join and will be provided a link after their RSVP has been received. 2. TMEP2 Contract Overview The purpose of TMEP2 is to acquire claims processing and associated customer support services for beneficiaries eligible for both Medicare and TRICARE. DHA plans to award the TMEP2 contract to a single qualified prime contractor using full and open competition. The current TMEP contract expires on March 30, 2028. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for TMEP2 was posted on November 25, 2025, to SAM.gov (please see Links section below). Please review the posted draft RFP documents for additional information about expected contract requirements and scope. Interested parties are also able and encouraged to submit questions or comments in response to this announcement. The government intends to utilize these questions or comments to drive discussions during each one-on-one. 3. Responses RSVPs to the one-on-one industry forum must be completed utilizing the link below by 5:00PM EST January 9, 2026. Respondents may provide a brief (no more than 15 minutes) presentation of their capabilities. As appropriate, your responses to the draft RFP will be the main focus of the discussions during each one-on-one.
