Description

Response date renewed to Friday, 10 JUL 2026 at 5:00PM EST. Due to delays associated with the final phase of design, this Sources Sought Notice is being renewed to determine if new interest has developed since the original response date. If you previously submitted a response to the original notice or updated notice (Update Number 0001), you do NOT need to submit a new response. However, you are invited to submit a new response if relevant information previously provided on your Sources Sought Response Form has changed (e.g., bonding capacity increase). THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This is NOT a solicitation. This is market research for a project to determine potential construction contractor sources including qualified and eligible Small Businesses. This notice is for planning purposes only. Not responding to this Sources Sought Notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation should one be issued. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this requirement is to construct a Munitions Maintenance and Inspection (M and I) facility, two earth-covered munitions storage igloos, Munitions Assembly Complex (MAC) Pad, inert storage, and above ground munitions storage facilities, according to design documents (i.e., specifications, drawings, etc.) developed by contracted A-E firm. The construction schedule is estimated to be approximately 545 days (18 months). Solicitation of offers is planned to be published prior to 31 JUL 2026. The target price range for this project is between $14,000,000 and $18,000,000. Response INFORMATION: Interested parties must provide this office, in writing via single PDF, a notice stating their positive intent to submit an offer as a prime contractor no later than 28 MAY 2026 at 5:00PM EST. This notification, not to exceed seven typewritten pages (not inclusive of attachments), must include (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) Completed Sources Sought Response Form (attached to this Notice). Responses may include information on projects completed during the past three years of a similar scope, both for government and private industry. If including past project information, provide the following details for each project: Type of project, Price, Contract number, Location, Customer and Customer point of contact. If Small Businesses are not available to provide for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as Unrestricted. Information shall be provided via emails to both: travis.kraick@us.af.mil and andrew.brown.69@us.af.mil. Include in the subject line: Sources Sought_Munitions Storage Area_[Insert Company Name]
