Description
Description : The United States Coast Guard is looking to rent a 35 TON mobile crane for the Industrial Production Facility at Base New Orleans. This service order is intended to provide a bare rental where the contractor provides the delivery and pick-up of the crane and four (4) outrigger pads. Coast Guard qualified personnel will operate the crane and provide their own signal person and rigging. 1. Requirement Details: - Equipment: 35 TON Mobile Crane (Bare Rental) and four (4) outrigger pads - Period of Performance: Two-month period, starting on 05 AUG and ending on 04 OCT - Place of Performance: Industrial Production Facility (IPF), 1790 Saturn Blvd, New Orleans, LA 2. Installation Access & Security: - All vendor personnel accessing the installation for delivery and pick-up must present a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an alternative federally accepted identification. 3. Acquisition Authority and Procedures - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. - This acquisition is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13 in conjunction with Commercial Product policies under FAR Part 12. Contract Provisions, Clauses, and Terms: - The full text of all applicable FAR provisions and clauses, including instructions to vendors and contract terms, are Attachment. - By submitting a quote, vendors agree to comply with all terms outlined in the attachments, which notably includes: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to vendors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Products and Commercial Services Government Property and Liability Terms (Ref: FAR Part 45): Specific conditions establishing vendor liability, maintenance responsibilities, and repair/replacement timelines for the bare equipment rental.
