NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21), intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price for two (2) months for security guard services, effective September 1st, 2026 to October 31, 2026. Applicable authority, VAAR Part 8119.7008 (DEVIATION) Sole source awards to certified service-disabled Veteran-owned small businesses. Applicable NAICS: 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Due to the continuation of need it has been determined that these services are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract to incumbent, 365 Facilitators, Inc. (Incumbent), SDVOSB, 7600 Chevy Chase Dr. Suite #2-323, Austin, TX 78752, (877) 365-FACT (3228) | (512) 914-478, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) #: M68YLCU7NJL5. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer within three (15) calendar days of this publication by contacting Cynthia Diezel via e-mail at cyntiha.diezel@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. If firm provided capabilities statement to previous sources sought, there is no need to respond with an interest. The solicitation for the long-term requirement will continue to be solicited with the Request for Quote to be posted within the following month with anticipated award prior to the expiration of this two (2) month contract. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services.
