This is a Sources Sought Notice Only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. This market research notice is being conducted by Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 17, 5441 Babcock Road Ste. 302, San Antonio, TX 78240. The requirement is for: 41 units of backup batteries. Part Number: 7102244 Accu Option Backup Battery Pack VA North Texas Health Care System 4500 South Lancaster Road Dallas, TX 75216 See Attachment SOW back up batteries, for additional details for the catchment area. If this is a commodity your business can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 8:00am Central Standard Time on Monday, June 22, 2026. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, Contractors may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the contracting officer whether to continue with the sole source procurement or to provide for competition. Due to technical issues, please allow additional time if you re using electronic means. The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g., set- aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a requirement that VA intends to fulfill soon. Interested Contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, include the contract details in your response. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Small Business that can provide this item. Vendors are requested to submit estimated market research pricing with their responses, but it is not mandatory. If known, submit estimated market research pricing with your response (i.e. breakdown per mile, base rate mileage, etc.) The estimated pricing will be considered when determining the procurement strategy for the future solicitation.
