The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to [Vendor Name] for the acquisition of CEREC Primescan AC TP systems, including on-site training and disposable camera sleeves, for the Dental Service at [Facility Name and Address]. The CEREC Primescan system provides high-precision intraoral optical impressions via a high-resolution, heated oral 3D scanner with a removable reflective sleeve and integrated image processing. The system features a touchpad, hand and foot controls, USB and network connectivity, and a 21.5-inch LED display, providing advanced digital impression capability. These digital scanners are necessary to streamline dental prosthetic fabrication by enabling providers to electronically scan patients' mouth and teeth and transmit the files to contracted dental laboratories. This digital workflow reduces shipping and fabrication time, shipping and material costs, and is more comfortable for patients than traditional impression techniques. The period of performance will be one year from date of award. The justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102, soliciting from a single source, due to the specialized nature of the equipment and compatibility with the dental service s requirements and contracted laboratory interfaces. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet this requirement may submit a written response with sufficient evidence demonstrating the ability to supply the required equipment and all critical features. Responses received by 10:00 am EST on July 15, 2026 will be considered by the Government, but a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition is solely at its discretion.
