AMENDMENT 0002 SOLICITATION Q&A S AND SITE-VISIT PHOTOGRAPHS The purpose of this amendment is to publish responses to technical questions submitted by prospective vendors, and photographs taken during the project site-visit conducted on August 10, 2026. All previous terms, conditions and clauses remain the same =================================================================================================== AMENDMENT 0001 SOLICITATION RE-OPENED & EXTENDED The opportunity has been re-opened and amended for the following reasons and is outlined in the attached SF30: Site-visit: A site-visit will be held at MCC San Diego to allow interested vendors the opportunity to examine existing conditions and the work area. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory. Vendors wishing to attend must submit NCIC background check forms for all proposed attendees by the deadline stated in the solicitation. Only individuals who have received prior approval will be permitted to enter the facility. Specific instructions regarding the date, time, meeting location, required identification, and security procedures will be provided in the solicitation. Questions will not be answered during the site-visit; all questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in accordance with the solicitation instructions. NCIC Criminal History forms due: Friday, August 7, 2026, by 10:00 AM PST Site-visit: Monday, August 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM PST Questions Due: Wednesday, August 12, 2026, by 10:00 AM PST New Offer Due Date: Friday, August 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST All previous terms, conditions and clauses remain the same =================================================================================================== ORIGINAL SOLICITATION NOTICE (POSTED MAY 20, 2026): The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) San Diego is issuing a Request for Quotation 15B61026Q00000002 for replacement of the cold water distribution pump. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside RFQ. Any contractor interested in obtaining contract award with the BOP, MCC San Diego, must be registered at www.sam.gov. All responsive are encouraged to submit a written quote which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available until June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. (PST). This solicitation is distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about the acquisition, including any solicitation amendments, will also solely be distributed through this site. The Vendor who is awarded this contract from the RFQ will be contacted directly. If you are not contacted, your company did not get the award. If your company would like a bid abstract or information about the award, you may download these items from this site as they will be available approximately 7-14 days after the end of the RFQ or you may call for a faxed or emailed copy of the bid abstract. Please adhere all specifications outlined in the RFQ and Statement of Work and provide the supplier/brand name of the product intended to be delivered/installed. Items that do not adhere to our specifications will be rejected.
