Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District, will host an in-person and virtual Industry Day on 22 October 2026. Check-in on the day of the event will begin at 0730. Tentative agenda will include a Contracting and Programs overview and a focused session on the Qatar Development Area Space Campus. There will be an opportunity for breakout sessions and a question & answer (Q&A) session with Contracting, Construction, Engineering, and Programs and Project Management. The location will be the DoubleTree by Hilton, Blue Ridge Shadows, 111 Hospitality Drive, Front Royal, VA 22630. The purpose of Industry Day is for our architect-engineer and general contractor partners to have a glimpse of the current and upcoming program opportunities in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to allow both USACE and our contractor community to be better prepared for the work ahead. There will be an opportunity to openly discuss any questions, comments, concerns, and best practices contractors have about working in the CENTCOM AOR during the Q&A session. The Middle East District will solicit questions from industry in advance of the event. Please submit any questions by 1600 Eastern Daylight Time, 16 October 2025 to the attention of Jeanette Farrell at Jeanette.M.Farrell@usace.army.mil, with the Subject Line: Industry Day Oct 2026. Questions will be evaluated, and responses provided during the Q&A portion of the event. All attendees are required to register online to provide their company name and attendee names with titles by 19 October 2026.
