Description

Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is offering no-cost technical assistance to qualifying small businesses through the Hydropower Testing Network (HyTN) voucher program. Selected recipients will receive laboratory services from INL in support of hydropower development, testing, and analysis, funded through a U.S. Department of Energy voucher initiative. Three capabilities are available in this round: HyTN-49 Integrated Planning, Geotechnical Analysis, Valuation, and Optimization Services covering hydropower, hydro-hybrids, non-powered dams, and irrigation canals. HyTN-50 Interconnection Analysis, Hardware-in-the-Loop Testing, and Governor Performance Assessment Services covering hydropower interconnection studies, HIL testing, and governor performance evaluation. HyTN-73 HydroSHIELD Hydropower Assessment Hydropower assessment services under the HydroSHIELD capability. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Interested small businesses should identify the capability that best aligns with their project needs, then register through the program's application portal. Applicants will provide a brief description of their project and company purpose, and rank their top three voucher selections in order of priority. The scope of work for each capability is intentionally broad and is developed collaboratively between INL and the selected recipient. Projects that align with the general scope of any listed capability may be eligible for support.
