Special Notice: W912PM27BA001 Title: Industry Day for FY26/FY 27 Coastal Storm Risk Management Surf City, North Carolina The Industry Day Meeting for the Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) Surf City will occur on 15 September 2026 at 11:00 AM EST via Teams. The work consists of furnishing plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform dredging, transporting, placing and shaping beach fill and performing all pre and post construction beach surveys. Approximately 1 borrow areas is available for the project and located offshore of Topsail Island Beaches at the south end of the island. The Surf City Coastal Storm Risk Management Project consists of placing 6,500,000 CY of Dune and Berm beach fill along approximately 33,300 LF of Surf City Beach. This project shall use either an ocean certified hopper and/or an ocean certified pipeline dredge. The project also consists of extending approximately 40 existing walkover structures in Surf City and the stabilization of approximately 46 to 56 acres of new dune. In addition, breakout sessions will be provided with individual contractors following the group industry day meeting. Please indicate with your RSVP if you would like to request a breakout meeting.
