Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has a requirement to collect and submit electronic fingerprints via the Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction (SWFT) and the Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction Plus (SWFT+) applications (or their successors), as part of the Department of Defense security clearance investigation process, to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Trusted Decision (Adjudication) [TD(A)] (or their successors) as a condition of employment, internship or contractual access to information and materials. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with FieldPrint Inc. (CAGE: 5TFA7) under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.103-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit an award of a contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses shall be emailed no later than 10 August 2026 at 3:00 P.M. ET to Sheryl Pope at sheryl.m.pope.civ@us.navy.mil. and Jennifer Hanson at jennifer.t.hanson2.civ@us.navy.mil. Content should be limited to no more than five (5) pages.
