SOURCES SOUGHT / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Notice Type: Sources Sought / Request for Information Title: Hydraulic Hose Replacement for JLG 600AJ Aerial Lift Location: U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West, FL Response Deadline: August 14th, 2026, 3 PM EST 1. Synopsis and Purpose This is a Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought notice issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Sector Key West. This notice is for market research and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). The USCG is seeking to identify qualified individuals or firms capable of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to replace the hydraulic hoses on one (1) JLG 600AJ aerial lift located at Sector Key West. The existing hydraulic hoses have reached the end of their service life and require replacement to maintain safe and reliable operations. 2. Project Overview Location: U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West, BLDG 102, 100 Trumbo Rd, Key West, Florida 33040. Facility Operating Hours: Services must be performed between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Weekend access requires prior written approval from the Contracting Officer. Security Requirements: Personnel will require base access. A list of personnel names must be provided to the Coast Guard COR. Personnel without existing base access must first report to the NAS Boca Chica Security Office for an entry pass. Proper ID and base entry passes are required at the gate. 3. Scope of Work Summary The prospective contractor shall be responsible for the following: Removing and replacing all hydraulic hoses from the tower boom knuckle to the man basket on one (1) JLG 600AJ aerial lift. Furnishing and installing approximately 400 feet of 3/8-inch hydraulic hose, along with all required hose ends, adapters, JLG-approved hose clamps, and associated mounting hardware. Properly routing, securing, and protecting all hoses from abrasion or interference. Refilling hydraulic fluid, inspecting for leaks, verifying proper torque specifications, and restoring the hydraulic system to proper operating condition. Performing functional testing of the boom, basket, and hydraulic systems to verify proper operation. Cleaning the work area and properly disposing of removed materials in accordance with environmental regulations. Participating in a final walkthrough inspection. Any deficiencies must be corrected prior to final acceptance. 4. Requested Information from Interested Parties Interested and capable contractors are requested to provide a brief Capability Statement responding to this RFI. Capability Statement: A brief description of your company's experience and capability to perform the specific services described in the Scope of Work (specifically regarding heavy equipment/aerial lift maintenance and hydraulic systems). Estimated Lead Time: An estimate of the time required to procure the necessary JLG-approved materials and complete the installation once a contract is awarded. 5.
