Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price, base plus 3 option year (OY) contract for inspection, testing maintenance and repair of the Abbott OPTIS Mobile Next Imaging System at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS). The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) is Abbott Vascular. Their technicians are OEM certified to provide parts and service compatible with the equipment. The technicians are also the only individuals authorized to install and maintain the equipment. The OEM will only guarantee work completed by these technicians. The government intends to award the contract on 08/03/2026 to Abbott Vascular, Inc. 3200 Lakeside Drive Santa Clara, California 95054-2807. SAM UEI: KP5EVFMHUAN1 CAGE CODE: 4KHJ3 The Period of Performance will be 09/01/2026-08/31/2030. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement and provides an authorized letter to perform services on the equipment., it may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days of this publication by contacting John Waldrip via email at john.waldrip@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses are due no later than Friday, July 17, 2026, at 4:00PM Pacific Standard Time.
