Description

1. This RFI is issued solely to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any potential future RFQ. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor SAM.gov for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research, a continuous process for collecting and analyzing information about capabilities within the market to satisfy agency needs. The acquisition strategy has not yet been determined, and market research results will assist in determining the direction this acquisition may take. 2. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Responses are requested from all business sizes. 3. This Sources Sought is for the following items: - BK Technologies BKR5000-T3YS-1 radios for compatibility during wildfires involving community partners, on mutual aid responses, and other off-installation emergencies - BK Technologies BKR0813 anntennae for radios - BK Technologies BKR0120 battery packs - BK Technologies BKR0206 microphone/speaker - BK Technologies extended warranty - BK Technologies cables, adapters, and programming 4. Please respond to this sources sought via email to the primary POC listed if your company is capable of fulfilling this requirement. Responses must include the company's CAGE code. If your company provides these products under a GSA schedule, please provide the GSA contract number as well.
