DISCLAIMER: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (Market Research) conducted pursuant to FAR Part 10 and FAR Part 19. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. 1. Scope of Requirement The 434th Air Refueling Wing, Grissom Air Reserve Base (IN), requires a fully certified, qualified contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, testing apparatus, and supervision necessary to perform annual on-site inspection, hydrostatic testing, and minor service maintenance for fire hoses, nozzles, and appliances in strict accordance with NFPA 1962 standards. Service Model: Complete "Full Service" operational model where the contractor performs all loading, unloading, re-packing, and inventory handling. Hose Testing: Annual service testing of attack, supply, and booster hoses ranging from 1.5-inch to 5-inch diameters. Nozzle & Appliance Testing: Visual inspection, mechanical flow testing, and hydrostatic pressure testing of master stream devices, wyes, adapters, and nozzles. Minor Maintenance: Immediate replacement of degraded gaskets and couplings during inspection. Deliverables & Records: Detailed electronic inventory, pass/fail logs, barcoding/tagging updates, and formal compliance certificates within 14 calendar days of test completion. 2. Contractor Capability Submission Requirements Interested vendors must submit a concise Capability Statement addressing the criteria detailed below: Company Details: Legal Entity Name, Physical Address, Point of Contact (Name, Phone, Email), and Website. Registration Identifiers: Active SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and CAGE Code. Contractors must have an active registration for All Awards (not limited to Federal Assistance). Business Size Standard: Socioeconomic status under NAICS 811310 (e.g., Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, or Large Business). 3. Response Instructions Verify that your SAM.gov registration is active for Contract Opportunities (All Awards) prior to submission.
