Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Healthcare Contracting Division-South intends to award a sole source requirement for Off-Site Sterilization and Medical Instrument maintenance for the Naval Hospital Pensacola, Florida, to STERIS Corporation (Cage Code: 0NWN1) located at 5960 Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060-1834 under the authority of FAR Subpart 12.102. This notice is neither a request for competitive quotations nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement. Responses to this notice should include: 1. Written narrative (not to exceed 1 page) of Contractor s capability to provide Off-Site Sterilization and Medical Instrument maintenance: 2. Company Size in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 561910 - Packaging and Labeling Services; 3. Commercial and Government Entity; 4. The socioeconomic status of the company, i.e., small business concerns, 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, women-owned small business, veteran- owned small business; 5. There is a future possibility of additional Off-Site Sterilization and Medical Instrument maintenance services to be added under the resultant contract from this Notice of Intent. These additional services would cover the Florida Panhandle Military Treat Facilities and outlying clinics; and 6. Point of Contact information to include name, email address and telephone number. Responses to this notice should be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Mr. Sylas Younger at sylas.a.younger.civ@health.mil or the Contracting Officer, Mr. Marcus Mattingly at marcus.h.mattingly.civ@health.mil. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 P.M. CDT on 10 August 2026.
