The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes only and to make appropriate acquisition decisions to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), with a size standard of 25 million. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a business that can provide Brand Name or Equal Bibliotheca RFID Gate Security System. The requirement is for a Library RFID Gate Security System with a workstation to include installation, testing, and training. The RFID gate security system functions will help protect Library collection, analyzes library traffic, assists in helping to configure and pull management reports at the San Juan VACHS Library Service. Installation will be required in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Must Include a Brand Name or Equal of the following: RFID BIBLIOTHECA SECURITY SYSTEM AND BOOK CONTROL CONSISTS OF: 2 CONTROL TOWERS-1 ENTRANCE AND 1 EXIT WITH A SHIELDED WORKSTATION AND BASE PLATE CONTROL TOWER WITH BASE PLATE BRAND NAME:BIBLIOTHECA MODEL #:ECCA-GAT400003RFID SHIELDED WORKSTATION BRAND NAME:BIBLIOTHECA MODEL#:ECCA-STF00017RFID ROLL OF SQUARE TAGS (2000 TAGS PER ROLL) BRAND:BIBLIOTHECA MODEL#:ECCA-TAG0001RFID Other Specifications: Performance Reads up to 8 tags per second Alarm - Highly visible integrated digital display to monitor alarm counts, ingoing and outgoing patron traffic, and diagnostics Installation - Multiple installation options including direct attachment to the floor with either in floor wiring or a wire way and a baseplate option. Concerns may respond by submitting a qualifications letter including the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Phone Number, FAX, Email, System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Identifier Code (UEI), Socio-Economic Category i.e.,(SDVOSB, VOSB, HUBZone, etc.) and Capability Statement specific to the technical requirements and include a product brochure, if possible. Provide evidence that your firm can provide the requested items, including past and/or current contracts for the same requirements, and any other compelling evidence to help the Government determine your company's capabilities. To be eligible for an award, prospective offerors must be registered on the SAM website, https://sam.gov/content/home. Responses to this notice shall be sent via email no later than 11:00 AM EST on June 22, 2026. Telephone and facsimile responses will not be considered.
