Description

The Army Contracting Command (ACC) Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) is hereby issuing the following: REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) For our Mission Partner: Product Manager for Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (PdM WESS) Under Solicitation No. W15P7T-27-R-HMFT DESCRIPTION Product Manager Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (PdM WESS) is seeking information on companies with a comprehensive background in producing, installing and maintaining up to a quantity of nine state-of-the-art High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) hardened medium fixed Satellite Communications Earth Terminals. PdM WESS is tentatively planning to acquire these terminals to be installed within the continental United States. The Government tentatively plans to issue a solicitation for a HEMP Hardened Medium Fixed SATCOM Terminal that operates in X Band, with selective polarization operation. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 517410: Satellite Telecommunications. Synopsis: Request for Information (RFI) for a potential requirement for production, installation and sustainment support of high-altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) hardened satellite communications terminals. This is an RFI only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request For Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. The information provided in this notice is subject to change and is not binding on the government. QUESTIONS All questions related to the RFI shall be submitted no later than (NLT) 1200 Noon EST on 07 October 2026 via email Dr. Renee J Bayton, Contract Specialist at renee.j.bayton.civ@army.mil and Licinda M Peters, Contracting Officer at licinda.m.peters.civ@army.mil. Respondents who submit questions in response to the RFI, are requested to use Attachment 0001 RFI Question Template. The completed question template should be attached to the email as an Excel document. RESPONSES Please submit your RFI responses for the above requested information in PDF or Microsoft Word format no later than (NLT) Noon EST on 15 October 2026 to Dr. Renee J Bayton, Contract Specialist at renee.j.bayton.civ@army.mil and Licinda M Peters, Contracting Officer at licinda.m.peters.civ@army.mil Please find attached the RFI document and W15P7T-27-R-HMFT_RFI Questions Template_Attch 0001 All questions and responses shall be sent via email to the Contracting Officer Ms. Licinda Peters and Contract Specialist Dr. Renee Bayton.
