Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to define the requirements for the complete removal and replacement of all defective grout joints in stone flooring and paving throughout the U.S. Embassy compound. The work includes removal of improperly installed grout and sand fill, joint preparation, resetting of loose pavers, installation of expansion joints, application of specification-compliant grout to full depth, and sealing of limestone surfaces. The project aims to restore safety, eliminate trip hazards, prevent further deterioration of stone pavers, and ensure long-term structural integrity in accordance with U.S. Department of State (DoS), International Building Code (IBC), original construction specifications, and local Paraguayan regulations.
