Description
The DLA-Aviation is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the government s required for an Autoclave upgrade and retrofit of an existing Thermal Equipment Corporation (TEC) composite autoclave system at Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, North Carolina. Upgrade and retrofit is a turnkey effort. In addition to the upgrade/retrofit, the government requires: training on the upgraded system, tech data (manuals/drawings), installation, rigging, removal of equipment, shipping, and IUID tag. The autoclave retrofit requires Allen-Bradley components for the control and human-machine interface (HMI) as documented in the purchase description attached to this posting. No substitutes are permitted on the Allen-Bradley components cited in the purchase description. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNIAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties should submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by July 31 2026, NLT 11:59 pm EST. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to avnipemarketresearch@dla.mil. Responses should be not exceed ten (10) one-sided 8.5 x 10 inch pages with a font that is no smaller than 10 point as this is not a request for a proposal but only a request for submission of a vendor's capability to perform this requirement. Interested parties that can perform the upgrade/retrofit of FRCE s TEC Auto Clave system may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than the stated closing date/time. Place of performance is Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, North Carolina. A copy of the requirements document (purchase description (PD)) has been provided with this sources sought. The PD has references to government controlled unclassified information (CUI) technical data. These will be available for use when the government posts the solicitation as they require handling through DLA s Technical Data Management Transformation (TDMT) System (Formerly known as Collaboration Folder C-Folder System)).
