Description

This is Amendment A0003 to IFB Solicitation 36C24226B0044, Expand Parking Lot at the James J. Peters DVA Medical Center, Bronx, NY. This amendment provides the following for bidding contractors: Revised response to previous RFI#7 for rock allowances. This response supersedes previous RFI #7 response issued with Amendment A0002. Contractors must bid accordingly based on the revised response issued with this Amendment A0003. Confirm that Bid Sheet Line item 3: Add allowance of $100,000.00 is still required and has nothing to do with the rock excavation estimate in Note 28 of Drawing G-100. Please pay attention to the revised RFI #7 response as contractors must include a rock estimate of 4,000 CY in their base bid as described in the RFI #7 response on the continuation page of this amendment. Confirm that TWO electronic signs are required for this project, and the basis of design for the signs are detailed in the solicitation SOW. Contractors must refer to the solicitation SOW only, as the solicitation drawing contains conflicting information. Contractors must bid accordingly. The bid opening will be held on Monday, 8/24/2026 @ 2PM EST. No emailed bids will be accepted. Thank you for your interest and participation in this solicitation. Pat
