Description

The Missouri Army National Guard (MOARNG) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice to inform industry of an upcoming requirement for an Industrial Waterjet Cutting System. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the procedures outlined in RFO 12.201-1(c)(2). Please be advised that this notice is published solely to inform industry of the Government s intent to solicit quotations directly from at least three small business manufactures or authorized dealers of waterjet cutting systems whose primary business is the sale of machine tool equipment. The Government does not intend to post a formal solicitation notice on SAM.gov. In accordance with RFO 12.201-1(c)(2), for acquisitions at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), the Contracting Officer is electing to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. By posting this pre-solicitation notice, the Government is fulfilling the requirement to post a pre-solicitation notice in the GPE according to subpart 5.1. Product Description The Missouri National Guard has a requirement for an Industrial Waterjet Cutting System with a minimum effective cutting travel of 4000 mm x 2000 mm (13 ft x 6.5 ft) that utilizes high-precision linear encoders capable of holding tolerances of +- 0.001 and will evaluate commercial off the shelf products that meet these requirements. Solicitation & Award Timeline The Missouri National Guard intends to use simplified procedures to solicit offers and make an award to the offeror that represents the best value to the Government. The anticipated award date is 19 August 2026.
