Description

The Montana Army National Guard intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed-Price contract to either Dart Aerospace Company (Dart) (CAGE Code - 3AL64) or SEI Industries LTD (SEI) (CAGE Code - 0CAE9). In accordance with RFO FAR Part 12.102(a) only one source is available. The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the Montana Army National Guard anticipates issuing a contract to either Dart or SEI for parts to their existing Bambi Bucket systems. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals thus no solicitation will be posted. However, any party that believes it can meet this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform/deliver the requirement. Included must be sufficient technical detail/information that a reasonable determination can be made that the offered item/service would qualify given the provided information. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: See attachment for the list of required parts necessary for the repair of the existing bambi bucket systems originally procured through SEI Industries. The MTARNG does not intend to pay resale were a vendor simply can buy the parts directly from SEI or DART then resell to the government. Any solution must provide enough details for the Government to understand how the company plans to provide the required parts that do not compromise warranty or safety of the system (substitiued or second hand parts not suppported by the manufactorer of the system). Please email responses to Adam Sackman, Contracting Officer at adam.d.sackman.civ@army.mil.
