Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract to Sound Room Solutions, Inc., 40 Glen Street, Suite 4 Glen Cove, NY 11542 the authority of 41 U.S.C 253-c-1, as implemented in FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. IAC Acoustics names Sound Room Solutions, Inc. as its authorized sole source distributor/dealer for the Accutone II Medical and Life Sciences product for the following states: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, & TX. Sound Room Solutions, Inc. is a fully authorized distributor for all IAC Acoustics Medical and Life Sciences products. IAC is the only manufacturer that has the testing data of all parts of the system combined and the right size pre-engineered panels that work with their booth that is being refurbished. Period of Performance: The period of performance is 3 calendar days from notice to proceed. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement no later than Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at 11:00am EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. After August 26th, 2026, at 11:00am EST, if no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, the Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Sound Room Solutions, Inc. The Government believes the services outlined in the Scope of Work cannot be provided by another firm. It is necessary that Sound Room Solutions, Inc. completes this project to prevent further delays to patients in need of healthcare. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
