Description
***SOURCES SOUGHT*** Requirement: Side Covers for Existing BeaverFit Facility Location: 149th Fighter Wing, JBSA Lackland, San Antonio, Texas 1.0 Description of Requirement The 149th Fighter Wing is seeking to identify potential sources capable of providing and installing custom side covers for an existing outdoor BeaverFit functional fitness facility. The durable weather covers that extend down the sides to the conex boxes on either side of the existing installation. The proposed solution must withstand local weather conditions (wind, rain, UV exposure) while maintaining the structural integrity of the existing BeaverFit rig. For reference, the existing conex boxes are 20 feet long by 8 feet 4 inches high, and the BeaverFit rig is approximately 36 feet across the base from pole to pole. (Please see the attached pictures for current site conditions and structural layout). 2.0 Information Requested Please respond to the following questions to demonstrate your firm's capability to fulfill this requirement: Vendor Information: 1. Please provide the name of your firm and contact information to include UEI number, email address, and physical address. 2. Can your company provide the materials and perform the installation? 3. Are you a GSA vendor? If so, please provide your GSA Contract Number. Technical / Capability Questions: 4. Experience: Does your company have previous experience modifying, covering, or attaching structures to existing BeaverFit containerized fitness solutions (or similar tactical fitness rigs)? 5. Materials & Durability: What type of materials would you recommend for this enclosure (e.g., heavy-duty vinyl, rigid panels, wind-rated mesh) to ensure longevity in the South Texas climate? 6. Structural Integrity: How will your proposed cover solution attach to the existing rig and conex boxes? Will it require drilling or welding that might affect the current structure's anti-corrosion coating or warranty? 7. Lead Time: Based on a standard order of this size, what is your estimated lead time for fabrication and installation? 8. Site Visit: Would your company require a formal site visit to take exact measurements prior to submitting a quote, or are the provided photos and standard BeaverFit dimensions sufficient? *This is a sources sought notice and not a formal request for quotes.*
