Description

Repair and Restoration of Swimming Pool Chief of Mission Residence, Bras lia, Brazil The U.S. Embassy Bras lia requires the repair and restoration of the existing swimming pool at the Chief of Mission Residence, Bras lia-DF, Brazil. The pool has structural and aesthetic deficiencies including water infiltration, loose and missing tiles, deteriorated grout, and damaged coping. The purpose of this work is to return the pool to a watertight, safe, and serviceable condition that meets the Government's maintenance standards. The Contractor shall furnish all engineering services, materials, labor, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the restoration. The scope includes: Infiltration mitigation planning Tile repair and replacement Regrouting of tiled surfaces where required Restoration of the running edge (coping) Performance shall be completed within 30 working days after receipt of order. Earlier completion is acceptable provided all work conforms to the specification. This is a commercial services acquisition conducted under FAR Part 12 using simplified procedures. This acquisition is not set aside for small business concerns. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which the Government will consider. Quotations shall be submitted electronically to Fernanda Vieira, VieiraFS@state.gov and brasiliagsoprocurementdl@state.gov, no later than Aug 14, 5pm Bras lia local time. Interested vendors should request the Statement of Work by email to VieiraFS@state.gov and brasiliagsoprocurementdl@state.gov.
