Description

AMENDMENT 001 - See attachments. The amendment includes an amended combined synopsis/solicitation due to a shift in page numbers due to explanation of acces to Unit 1. The added language is identified in red. The amendment also clarifies language in Appendix A, adds information tables to Contract Area Maps and includes the notes from the Site Visict conducted on 6/30/2026. There is no change in the Offer Due Date of 7/20/2026 1400 MDT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12363N26Q4179 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for This procurement is restricted to the approved companies eligible for call orders under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project BPA for the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in the state of Colorado. This requirement may be awarded to one vendor as a BPA Call Order against BPA's previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE). The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice that are not eligible for awards under the R2 Rocky Mountain Restoration Project BPA. The East Boundary fuels mitigation project will help protect critical Department of Defense (DOD) infrastructure and assets by creating?resilient forested landscapes by thinning unhealthy forests, thus reducing hazardous fuels in areas neighboring these installations.? By creating a mosaic of forest conditions adjacent to the installations, this project creates a resilient forested landscape by completing fuel treatments that reduce the amount of standing biomass within forest vegetation types.? Such projects will establish strategic fuel breaks and fire potential control lines near these military installations. Examples of work include: Masticating/Chipping small diameter conifer species Masticating/Chipping Gambel oak Pruning conifer species. There is no product removal associated with this project. The period of performance is Sept 26, 2026 through June 30, 2028 This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 115310 The small business size standard is $34 Million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
