THE RESPONSE DATE FOR SOLICIATION N0016719Q0195 HAS BEEN REVISED TO 12PM EASTERN TIME FRI 27 SEPT 2019. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6. Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement is for the purchase of inverted top hats and threaded caps manufactured from either HY-100 or HLSA-100. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. N0016719Q0195. The NAICS code is 332510 and the business size standard is 750 (employees). The proposed order is being solicited as a total small business set-aside. See attached solicitation for clauses and provisions. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation; will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate all timely quotes received from eligible offerors on a lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. The Government intends to evaluate quotations and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary. Evaluation Factors (in order of importance) 1. Technical - Offerors' quotes must reflect the required specifications included in the RFQ. 2. Price - Offerors must include all applicable costs that reflect items listed specifications. See FAR Clause 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, incorporated into this solicitation, for additional information regarding the evaluation process for this award. Quote packages are due by 25 September 2019 by 12PM Eastern Time. Late quotes will not be considered.
