Description

This announcement serves as a Sources Sought Notice issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) ? Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) - Part 10. Tyndall AFB is seeking contractors who would be able to assist in the recovery of the base after a natural disaster, other emergency situations/events and those with interest for future requirements. Those that respond will be added to a master list for use if/when a need arises. If time permits, the active list does not preclude the government from releasing a formal solicitation. This Sources Sought includes, but is not limited to, these types of anticipated work: general construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fencing, heavy equipment rentals/operators, debris/tree removal, gravel/rock, roofing, temp roofing, water/mold/asbestos remediation, and paint/drywall. For those interested, please complete and submit the attached Excel spreadsheet with your contact information and capabilities. Contractors may add multiple NAICS codes and capabilities. Should your capability not be listed, please add a new column if it is related to a form of relief or construction. Also, include a PDF copy of your company?s capability statement/brief. Be sure the document is labeled with your company name. The purpose of this Sources Sought is solely for gathering information and planning. It does not constitute a solicitation, commitment, or obligation on the part of the Government. DO NOT submit a quote or proposal in response to this notice. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this notice, is voluntary. Therefore, the Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. The Air Force has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed. The release of this Sources Sought should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs for which reimbursement would be required or sought.
