Description
**The purpose of this notice modification is to update the "PEO IWS CSEA Industry Day Registration Form" attachment.** This Special Notice is for the purpose of announcing that Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) intends to conduct an Industry Day event for Surface Combatant Combat Systems Engineering Agent (SC CSEA) in Washington, D.C. on December 11, 2018. Background: The Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) is responsible for the development and fielding of integrated combat systems for large and small surface combatants and is committed to the PEO IWS mission to deliver sea power to the hands of our sailors. With this responsibility, PEO IWS, using the core functions of common combat system software, system test, installation and fielding, must rapidly and comprehensively introduce new naval capabilities to outpace our adversary's threats and thus maintain maritime superiority in all theaters of operation. PEO IWS plans to compete the SC CSEA procurement that will continue the evolution of a Common Source Library (CSL) for the CG 47, DDG 51, US Coast Guard (USCG) Offshore Patrol Cutter, USCG Polar-class Icebreaker, LCS, and FFG(X) ship classes to develop and field naval capabilities. Major areas of the procurement include: CSL Management and Architecture Capability and Software Development Capability Integration, System Test and Evaluation, and Installation Support Product Documentation and Product Support Development Site Activation, Maintenance, and Technical Support Models, Simulators and Stimulators Development and Maintenance Fleet Support Readiness Software Test Observations Evaluation and Defect Maintenance PEO IWS' desire is to further broaden industry exposure to this future solicitation with the intent to seek increased innovation, modernize development and testing processes, and accelerate delivery of next generation capabilities. PEO IWS is interested in discussing the future of the SC CSEA program in individual Company-Government sessions with each interested supplier after the General Session while maintaining a firm commitment to full and open competition. Industry Day Information: The General Session will provide an overview of PEO IWS' expectations and requirements for the SC CSEA. Individual Company-Government discussions will provide each Company an opportunity to present company specific experience, capabilities, and potential concerns with competition barriers. The SC CSEA Industry Day event will be held at CACI, 300 M Street SE, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20003. On-site check-in for the General Session will commence at 08:00 AM EST on December 11, 2018. The following events are tentatively scheduled as follows: General Session: Date:December 11, 2018 Time:09:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST Individual Company-Government Meetings To be scheduled Registration: This event is only open to United States citizens. A United States citizen is defined as a person that is a natural-born citizen within the continental United States or a person that was admitted lawfully into the United States for permanent residence. The registration and terms of use forms are attached to this announcement. Please submit a completed registration package no later than 4:00 PM EST on 4 December 2018 to the POCs identified within the notice with the email subject title: "PEO IWS Industry Day for Solicitation N00024-19-R-5101". The registration package submission shall include the following documents: 1)PEO IWS CSEA Industry Day Registration Form 2)N00024-19-R-5101 Terms of Use Form 3)DD Form 2345 (Military Critical Technical Data Agreement) The DD Form 2345 can be found on the Defense Logistics Agency website, www.dla.mil. The Government requests that registration responses be coordinated by a single point of contact per company. If interested, companies must also request an individual Company-Government meeting on the registration form. The Company-Government meetings will be scheduled based on availability. Once registration is processed, respondents will receive a read ahead package containing further information on the SC CSEA Industry Day event. Due to limited seating availability, on-site registration will not be permitted. Notice(s): This Special Notice is for information only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. This is not a request for proposals, a promise to issue a request for proposals, or a promise by the Government to pay for information received in response to this Special Notice or any subsequent Special Notice. Industry participation is voluntary and no entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of attendance at the Industry Day event. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice. There is no funding associated with this announcement. Industry may submit questions in writing prior to or during the Industry Day event. Submitted questions and any answers resulting from the briefing will be made publicly available after the Industry Day event via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (https://www.fbo.gov/). It is the responsibility of Industry, when providing any questions or comments (solicited or unsolicited), to properly mark information that is considered proprietary or is otherwise restricted. Any information submitted by respondents as a result of this Special Notice is strictly voluntary.
