Description

The scope of work is for the contractor to provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to Abate Silica Dust from Bldg 1909 Kitchen area. The purpose of this project is to reduce silica dust exposure to acceptable levels, ensuring compliance with all applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations (specifically 29 CFR 1926.1153 for construction or 29 CFR 1910.1053 for general industry, as applicable), and protecting the health and safety of workers and other individuals in the vicinity. This work also includes removing the existing tile throughout the kitchen area and replacing with new porcelain tile and grout.
