Description

United States Coast Guard Base St. Louis is accepting proposals for qualified individuals or firms to perform the initial removal of vegetation and brush, apply preventive growth measures, and maintain the vacant lot located in St. Louis, MO, to prevent future overgrowth.Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the scope of work, and it is mandatory to visit the facility to take field measurements, evaluations, etc., and become familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the work at: US Coast Guard Base St Louis 120 Iron Street St Louis, MO 63111 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. All work is to be completed in accordance with the scope of work. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and no other written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Small Business Set-aside, the applicable NAICS 561730 code and small business size standard is 19M. This solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price Service Contract awarded to the offeror with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Offerors must be actively registered in System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov. FAR 52.237-1 -- Site Visit (Apr 1984). Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
