It is neither a solicitation announcement or a request for quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be in writing and include a capabilities statement to Contracting Specialist Zach Whiting, Zachary.Whiting2@va.gov, no later than Wednesday 04/01/2026 at 6:00am EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. **This is not a full statement of work but should allow vendors to determine if they are able to perform services of this size and scope. General The Department of Veterans Affairs Western New York Healthcare System (VA WNY) seeks information from qualified firms capable of providing USP and CETA compliant certification services for the Sterile Compounding Pharmacy suite and select laboratory biological safety cabinets at the VA Western New York Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. These services include semi-annual certification and testing of pharmacy cleanroom spaces, primary engineering controls (biological safety cabinet and laminar airflow workbenches), and associated ceiling-mounted HEPA filters in accordance with VHA Directive 1108.12 and USP 797 and 800, as well as annual certification of three laboratory biological safety cabinets in accordance with NSF/ANSI 49 and applicable HEPA leak testing standards. The expected scope of work includes non-viable particle testing under dynamic conditions, periodic air and surface viable environmental sampling, room pressurization and air change calculations, HEPA filter leak testing, and delivery of written certification reports summarizing test locations, limits, results, and pass/fail status within seven (7) business days after completion of work, with all services performed on-site at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215.
