REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) MARKET RESEARCH ONLY 1. Purpose This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for market research and planning purposes in accordance with FAR Part 10. This notice: - Is NOT a solicitation - Does NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) - Does NOT obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract Responses are voluntary and will be used to determine acquisition strategy, including potential small business set-aside decisions. 2. Requirement Overview The Government is seeking information from qualified vendors for the following: Project Area: Federal Bureau of Prisons Reentry Services Division (RSD)/Education Branch Objective: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking a computer based- test (CBT) designed for the evaluation of comprehensive battery tests in the following areas: cognitive abilities, academic achievement, and oral language skills. 3. Set-Aside Market Research The Government is conducting market research to determine the availability of capable small business concerns and to support a potential set-aside decision in accordance with FAR Part 19. 4. Information Requested from Industry (available in attached document for responses) Company Information: - Company name - UEI number - Business size and socio-economic status - Primary NAICS code - SAM registration status Capability Statement: - Relevant experience performing similar services - Description of technical capabilities Acquisition Feedback: - Recommended contract type - Suggested NAICS code - Comments on industry standards or risks - Rough order of magnitude pricing information 5.
