Description
Notice of Intent: The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends award on a sole source basis a modification to existing contract HT942523D0018 on behalf of The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID). Contract HT942523D0018 was awarded to Trillamed LLC. on 22 September 2023. The objectives of this IDIQ are to (1) replace biocontainment sterilizer unit(s) (to include removal and disposal of existing units as well as installation of new units with biocontainment bioseal, certification and validation) and (2) upgrade software operating controls of existing pass-through biocontainment autoclaves. Trillamed was the only offer received during the full and open competitive commercial requirement. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.2. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations (RFQ) and no solicitation document exists for the requirement; however, if a vendor challenges the basis for this requirement, please submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide these supplies. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement. Capability statements are due no later than 1300 Eastern Time, 10 August 2025.
