Description
1.0. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide dishwashing machines that operate in accordance with Tri-Service Food Code manual, Chapter 4, Section 4-204.113 through 4-204.118, Standards and Sanitation of Food Service. The Contractor shall provide full-time qualified personnel, parts, and services necessary to perform the following: routine preventive maintenance checks in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance, all repairs which include labor and parts, 24-hour on call service support, completed service report from each site visit, training, and a toll-free service line for paging a designated contractor representative. Contractor shall provide training on the use of the machines at no additional cost to the Government. Contractor shall provide training for operators immediately upon completion of installation. Quarterly training will be furnished to the Government management team. Additional training will be provided whenever a machine operator damages equipment. Modifications to hood vent by others. Existing systems (electrical, plumbing, and steam) not designed to be used with the new washer will be capped off by others. Cleaning material (i.e, soap) must be purchased in conjunction with the leasing of, and maintenance of the dishwashing machines. The contractor shall not charge overtime charges for any services rendered. Contractor shall install new washer. New washer shall include booster heater to allow for high temperature sanitization rinse. This equipment and services are to be provided for Enlisted Dining Facility, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. 1.1. Routine Preventative Maintenance Checks. During routine maintenance calls, a qualified contractor representative will check-in with location technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to include any problems between service calls. 1.1.2. Repairs. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, parts, and services necessary to perform repairs to maintain all leased scullery equipment in optimum working order except where maintenance is the result of fire or flood. All repair services, at the time they are rendered, shall be done in a good and workmanlike manner. There shall be a 24-hours turnaround for call-in repairs. If payment will be required for damaged parts due to negligence of government personnel/machine operators, payment will be made on Government Purchase Card. 1.1.3 24-hour On-Call Emergency Service Support. The contractor shall provide 24-Hour emergency service, 365 days a year with a 2 hour initial response time in person or by phone. Also, Service Support shall provide a 48-Hour call back to validate resolution to the problem. The contractor shall provide on central Point of Contact for service calls. Name, Cell Phone and telephone numbers, email address of authorized contractor representative shall be furnished prior to award of contract. 1.1.5 Training. The contractor shall provide on-site training as requested, in the operation of dishwashing techniques, dishwashing machine operation and product use.
