Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, as revised by the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation number W9126G26QA105 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for non-personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, and supervision necessary to perform flood control embankment and levee mowing and trimming services at Hords Creek, OC Fisher, and Proctor Lakes, Texas.This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 561730 with a size standard of $9.5M. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.(ii) A list of line-item number(s), quantities, and units of measure (including options): See Attachment - Solicitation W9126G26QA105.(iii) Description of requirements for the services to be acquired: See Attachment - Solicitation W9126G26QA105. Note: Equipment used for Dam Embankment and Levee mowing is required to be certified by the Manufacturer or a Registered Professional Engineer to operate safely on a maximum twenty-seven (27) degree angle of incline (1 on 2.0), in accordance with PWS Paragraph 4.2.1.(iv) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and f.o.b. point: Services will be ordered on an as-needed basis via task orders at Hords Creek, OC Fisher, and Proctor Lakes. Destination acceptance applies. This acquisition is not subject to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Government Procurement Agreement or any Free Trade Agreements as it is a total small business set-aside.
