44--Laboratory 1800C Tubular Furnaces (4 Qty.)

Brand name or equal to Carbolite-Gero (Verder Scientific, Inc.) Horizontal High Temperature Tube Furnace up to 1800 C per the attached specifications (4 Qty.) Amendment 0002: The purpose of this amendment is to formally cancel Solicitation No. 89243326QFE000557 in its entirety and withdraw the associated total small business set-aside in accordance with RFO FAR 19.205(b). This solicitation was issued 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. Following evaluation of the quotations received, no technically acceptable quotes were received from eligible small business concerns. Consequently, no award will be made under this solicitation. The Small Business Set-Aside determination is hereby dissolved/withdrawn. DOE/NETL intends to resolicit this requirement on an unrestricted (full and open) basis under a separate solicitation number in the near future. Interested vendors, both large and small, will be invited to submit quotations under the new solicitation once posted. All quotations received in response to this solicitation (89243326QFE000557) are hereby rejected as a result of this cancellation.
