Amendment 0002 The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to: a. Revise the SAM.gov combined synopsis and soliciation posting with the following changes: --Revise the the period of performance including all options from: Base Period: 12 August 2026 through 11 August 2027 Option Period 1: 12 August 2027 through 11 August 2028 Option Period 2: 12 August 2028 through 11 August 2029 Option Period 3: 12 August 2029 through 11 August 2030 Option Period 4: 12 August 2030 through 11 August 2031 to Base Period: 01 September 2026 - 31 August 2027 Option Period 1: 01 September 2027 - 31 August 2028 Option Period 2: 01 September 2028 - 31 August 2029 Option Period 3: 01 September 2029 - 31 August 2030 Option Period 4: 01 September 2030 - 31 August 2031 --Revise the sentence from "This solicitation closes on Monday, 10 August 2026 at 8:00 am Mountain Standard Time (MST)" to "This solicitation closes on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST)." b. Revise Attachment 1 - PWS based on questions submitted on the Questions and Answers Log document received from industry. The sections of the PWS that have been updated are: PWS Sections 1.2, 1.3, 5.2.1.1, 5.2.1.3, 7.3, and 7.7. The modifications have been highlighted for clarity. c. Upload Attachment 5 - Solicitation Amendment W9124R26QA014002 SF30 to reflect the changes made in the solicitation. The attachment has been added to the Attachment List. The Offeror shall sign the amendment to acknowledge the changes. Any current or future amendments, the Offeror shall sign them and include them when submitting proposals. e. Add document "Attachment 6 - Questions and Answers Log" to the Attachment List to provide technical and contractual answers to questions provided by industry. f. Add document "TE-3 - Fire Extinguisher Service Overview" to the Attachment List to demonstrate the fire extinguishers' service history, size, type of the fire extinguishers, and the annual projection of fire extinguishers due for inspection and service. g. Revise the SAM.gov combined synopsis and soliciation posting with the following changes: --Revise the sentence from "Additionally, offeror shall provide documentation demonstrating their active NIST SP 800-171 assessment Rev2 in compliance with DFARS 252.204-7019 and DFARS 252.204-7020" to "Additionally, offeror shall provide documentation demonstrating their active NIST SP 800-171 Basic Self assessment Rev2 in compliance with DFARS 252.204-7019 and DFARS 252.204-7020. Only the NIST SP 800-171 Basic Self Assessment is required not the CMMC assessment." --Revise the sentence from "This solicitation closes on Thursday, 10 July 2026 at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time (MST)" to "This solicitation closes on Monday, 10 August 2026 at 8:00 am Mountain Standard Time (MST). Mountain Standard Time (MST)." b. Revised Attachment 3 - W9124R-26-Q-A014 SF 1449 with the following changes: --Extend the solicitation closing date from Thrusday, 30 July 2026 at 5:00PM MST to Monday, 10 August 2026 at 8:00AM MST. --The changes are reflected in Attachment 5 - Solicitation Amendment W9124R26QA014002 SF30. The Offeror shall sign the amendment to acknowledge the changes. Any current or future amendments, the Offeror shall sign them and include them when submitting proposals. c. Uploaded Attachment 4 - Solicitation Amendment W9124R26QA014001 SF30 to reflect the changes made in the solicitation. d. No other changes to the solicitation have been made. REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona is requesting a quote for is to provide comprehensive portable fire extinguisher maintenance, inspection and certification services in supporting the United States Army Arctic Regions Test Center (ARTC) at the Fort Greely, Alaska. The requirement includes annual preventative maintenance, annual inspections and annual certifications performed by an Alaska?certified Fire Extinguisher Service Technician Level II technician for all portable fire extinguishers located at Fort Greely, Alaska. This will result in a non-personal services contract. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services specified in Part 5 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) number 2026-01 Effective Date 03/123/2026. Solicitation number W9124R-26-Q-A014 is issued as a Request for Quote for comprehensive portable fire extinguisher maintenance, inspection and certification services. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect FAC number 2026-01 Effective Date 03/123/2026. The solicitation and resultant award will consist of Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001 refer to Attachment 3 - W9124R-26-Q-A014 SF 1449. Offeror is required to provide a unit price and total overall price on CLINs 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001. Offeror must quote on all items to be eligible for award. This solicitation will result in a single-award, Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is -811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance which was considered and selected as this industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in the repair and maintenance of commercial and industrial machinery and equipment. Establishments in this industry either sharpen/install commercial and industrial machinery blades and saws or provide welding (e.g., automotive, general) repair services; or repair agricultural and other heavy and industrial machinery and equipment (e.g., forklifts and other material handling equipment, machine tools, commercial refrigeration equipment, construction equipment, and mining machinery). The associated SBA size standard for the referenced NAICS is $12.5 million.
